Making Your Own Popsicles

I was flipping through my Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine this morning and saw these.

Can we say I Want Now...

Although now I need to buy ice pop molds. A useless kitchen gadget? I think not! Amazon has a ton of cute varieties, including these. Rocket shaped popsicles? Oh yes. I'd say they're absolutely necessary.

How are you bringing in the start of summer? I can't wait to show you what we bought tomorrow. :)

I'd Like to Make...

It's been awhile since I've done one of these posts. Even with all the food I ate yesterday, I am craving all sorts of new things.

These remind me of the Samoa bars I made nearly every week last summer. With summer around the corner (hopefully), these bars would be a perfect thing to try.

Oh, yes. I love me some risotto. I've only made lemon risotto, I really want to try this one out!

Have I told you that I've started drinking tea?? It's a new discovery. These cookies would be perfect with a cup!

Okay seriously, when have you ever seen a creation like this! Insane, I tell you, but brilliant.

I adore the pink frosting, but this cake looks divine! I've got a birthday coming up...

Another treat I want to make in the summer. I think it would be perfect at a barbecue.

I realize there is a lack of dinner/actual food/substance material. But what can I say, I am a sucker for sweets. My dentist hates me. What have you bookmarked lately?

I'd Like to Make

Recently I've gone on a bookmarking frenzy. I've had to restrain myself from running to the grocery store and buying everything I'd need for the breakfast, dinner, and dessert recipes I've bookmarked.

Roast Pork Loin with Bacon and Brown Sugar Glaze
O.m.g. Take a look at this, it's to die for.

Lemon Blueberry Breakfast Bread
Yes, please, I'd like this for breakfast with a lemon glaze.

Easy Parmesan Risotto
Have I talked your ear off about my new risotto kick? I'd love to make this.

Desserts

S'more Nut Bars
Graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows...

Chocolate Pudding Pie
It's been so long since I've had a pudding pie. We must fix that!

White Cake (Coconut Frosting)
For the past couple of years I have wanted a coconut cake for my birthday. No one has been able to quite get it right! I think this might be the one.

Pasta

Fettuccine Alfredo with Bacon
I love me a good pasta dish. And with bacon? I'll take it!

I am SO excited to do our major grocery shopping run this weekend (I can share this with you fellow bloggers because you understand grocery shopping excitement) and I'll be able to pick up stuff to make some of these new recipes. I can't wait!

A Shoutout to Santa Claus

This wasn't supposed to turn into a Christmas post. I wanted to post my recent bookmarks and then I realized, I only had two new ones to share...

Yes. I know.

Another contender for Thanksgiving?

The reason behind the lack of food related bookmarks?

It's November. And that means everyone is already starting to ask, "What do you want for Christmas?" So I have begun my search...

Have you started yours yet, or am I just crazy?

Here are some things I want this year.

I don't have any of her cookbooks. I really really want this one.

This is not going to happen. We don't have space for it. It's really expensive. But I want it anyway, Santa.

Please share any recipes you've bookmarked lately. I'm slacking and would like some new ones!

Recent Bookmarks

I've been bookmarking apple/pumpkin recipes like a mad woman. I have a serious Fall baking problem. Remember this post? All pumpkin except for those chocolate chip cookies! But don't worry. This post has only one pumpkin recipe.

How good does this look! I love any kind of Mexican food.

Yes, this is the pumpkin recipe. Come on, can you blame me!!

I'd really like to make these and decorate them for Halloween.

These cookies could potentially be a dessert for Thanksgiving.

This sandwich looks SO GOOD!

Can you believe I've never made chili before!? We're from Florida...we don't feel the desire to make soups or chili's! It's always HOT!

I'd Like to Make...

Rachael Ray has a new cooking show. I watched the first episode last week on the Cooking Channel, Food Network's sister channel. It's called Rachael Ray's Week in a Day and she makes five meals that you can prepare for an entire week. This Roasted Chicken dinner looks divine.

I need to think up an excuse to make this...

..and these. Except, with cookies, I can make them for the hubbs and I with no problem. We can finish off cookies easy. :)

I LOVE the blog How Sweet It Is. Chocolate and bacon are her two favorite ingredients! This whipped sweet potato dish popped up on her blog this week. I'm curious to see if I will like them better over the sweet potato dish I made last Thanksgiving.

This can easily become the perfect snack to come home to.
