First I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who took the time to leave me a comment here, on IG, or Facebook congratulating us on our pregnancy! It means the world to hear from so many of you and share in the excitement!
I'm due late March and I'm currently 12 weeks. We found out at 8 weeks but wanted to wait until I had my first ultrasound to start telling family and friends (besides our parents). I really wasn't sure how far long I was and was very surprised to hear that I was already 10 weeks when we had our ultrasound!
I have been feeling very sick to my stomach most days, very similar to how I felt with Miss A. That was a dead giveaway that I was pregnant! Thankfully I haven't actually gotten sick, just queasy most days and food wasn't appealing to me at all for awhile. I still have yucky days, but they are starting to subside. Instead I'm dealing with exhaustion, which isn't easy with a busy toddler running around!
I'm not really showing yet (unless you count the bloat tummy by the end of the day) but I have started taking belly pics! I took this one on the day of our ultrasound, my first "belly" pic so far! I did them with my first pregnancy and loved watching how my body changed. I probably won't be doing weekly updates- let's be real here, I barely have time to write one blog post some weeks, so realistically I don't think I could keep up with weekly posts. I'm thinking I'll probably group them together, whether it be two weeks at a time or once a month, we'll see.
I'm so excited to share this experience with you all and hopefully a new blog look in the coming weeks, along with a new blog name. I don't really see myself as "this woman cooks" anymore, because let's face it, I haven't talked about food or shared a recipe in a very loooong time. So I feel like it's time for a change, as I'm a Mommy now more than anything else! I hope you'll all still follow along when I make the change.
